This Direct was a big one for not just Nintendo fans but everyone else……….

Today I watched the Summer 2024 Nintendo Direct, expecting to see Metroid Prime 2 + 3 Remastered, instead, I and many other were completely caught off guard by something massive

We have got games that we’re so happy to see again. I’m sure others would enjoy the other games like that Dragon Quest game.

First off we have Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood.

This game that was rumored back then when Nintendo put out a survey for fans wanting a new Mario & Luigi game. What’s interesting is the series’s respective studio Alpha Dream went bankrupt so it’s surprising that Nintendo themselves managed to continue the series. I’m too am happy to see it return. The graphics are so damn great.

BYW the artstyle reminds me of a fan artist on Twitter named Dingus.

Next up is Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

This game is the first Zelda game to feature Zelda as the main protagonist. Now that makes a whole lot of sense because, you know, Zelda’s name is on the title.

They finally announced Metroid Zero Mission for the GBA Online.

This had gave me hope that presumably, they would announce Metroid Prime 2 + 3 Remastered. So I well ‘try to summon the remasters into existence’ and at the very end of the direct, just when I was about to give up hope.

I was presented with this text.

It seemed that I fully made the remasters finally happen. As I was watching this scene, I realized that I don’t remember this scene on Prime 2 or Prime 3. At that moment, not only that I realized what game I was watching, I also remembered the fabled and legendary game that was in development………

The graphics, the gameplay, the characters, just looks EPIC

I was in shock as to what happened. I was shaking uncontrollably. I never thought Nintendo would announce the game in this year. FTW, Metroid Prime 4 was announced way back in June 13 2017, it was when Samus Returned (Literally). Besides that, no released date was given. People waited for the game to be revealed. On 2021, there was an another Metroid Game, but it was Metroid Dread, a sequel to Metroid Fusion.

There were rumors of a Metroid Prime Trilogy Remastered which was partially true because on February 8th 2023, they’ve swiftly announced Metroid Prime 1 Remastered, a game with great graphics (compared to Scarlet and Violet). After that, fans assumed that they’re gonna wait for Metroid Prime 4 as they believe that Prime 2 + 3 remastered would come after. That’s when during this direct in 2024, Nintendo dropped the trailer for the long awaited game.

It’s about time they’ve did this! Nintendo is doing a direct tomorrow this year! There was a direct this year in February but that was to showcase non-Nintendo titles. While everyone is expecting a Zelda/Mario title, I’ll be on the seat waiting to see Metroid Prime 2 + 3 Remastered. I believe that Metroid Prime 4 could be a Switch 2 title.

Sorry I was sort of not active. I was busy having fun in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2! It’s a very great game with so much to do! As much as playing more of Xeniverse 2, I was more anticipated to l play FighterZ!

Some more news happened today. Gainax, the studio known for Evangelion and Gurren Lagann, has filed for bankruptcy……. I remembered watching the Evangelion movies and Gurren Lagann back then. How do you guys feel about this?

How I was introduced to Samus and the Metroid series was through Super Smash Bros Melee (Obviously). When I first saw her I thought she was a robot man.

Today was Pokemon Present 2024 premiered. I was expecting a Black & White remake when they announced several gaming content and few titles like that Pokemon Go X Pokemon Horizons thing. However, what I was not expecting was something I have been waiting since 2015.

Ladies and gentlemen, Pokemon announced Pokemon Legends: Z-A aka Pokemon Z!

For those unaware, Pokemon Z was a hypothetical title for a game that would go with X&Y, but instead of that in 2016, we when straight into Gen 7. After that coincidentally, Pokemon went down a steep road when we entered Gen 8. The games were mixed (Sword & Shield) or downright disgraceful (Gen 4 Remakes). The last game for that generation was Pokemon Legends Arceus, a game that many found good. It was a step up of the previous Gen 8 titles, until Scarlet and Violet sort of repeated some of the mistakes Gen 8 made. After the DLCs and 2023, Pokemon presents 2024 was announced, fans believe they were already heading into Gen 10 when this was revealed. Let’s hope that this would be better than Gen 8/9 and Legends Arceus, maybe the franchise could salvage themselves just like how Sonic did 😄

I know I wasn’t active since the other day, but I discovered on Twitter that Funimation is shutting down on April 2nd this year………. I wish it was just an April fools joke.

Nobody including myself saw this coming. Because it was bought by Crunchyroll, what will happen that Funimation will merge with Crunchyroll.

its very sad to see it end this way, in fact, Funimation was how it got me into anime. I used to watch Fairy Tail, Soul Eater, and even the Evangelion movies on their tv channel which that got shut down in 2012.
